Objective

Score the most points by forming valid words on the hexagonal board using your tiles and the multiplier spaces.

Included Items

  • Hexagonal game board (17-tile diameter) with multiplier spaces: DL, TL, DW, TW.
  • 4 tile holders (7 spaces each).
  • 108 tiles total:
    • 98 letter tiles (standard Scrabble letter distribution).
    • 4 Wild tiles (act as any letter, 0 points).
    • 2 Key tiles (unlock starting spaces or act as Wild if no Key locations are available, 0 points).
    • 4 Pivot tiles (change word direction mid-play, 0 points).

Setup

  1. Mix all tiles in the bag.
  2. Each player draws 7 tiles.
  3. Choose a starting player.

Playable Directions

All words must be placed in one of these three directions (and be readable in that direction):

  • Up-right 60°
  • Down-right 60°
  • Direct down

Starting & Placing Words

  • Players take turns forming words, starting from any central starting space or an unlocked Key location.
  • On your turn, place one connected word (with optional additional words formed by adjacency) and then draw back up to 7 tiles.

Starting from the middle of an existing word

If you start a new word from the middle of an existing word, your new word must run adjacent to the existing word (not parallel) unless every parallel letter placed forms a valid word.

Adjacent Letters Rule

When placing a new word “sideways” and its starting letter touches two letters from an existing word:

  • The second (non-word-forming) letter is ignored unless it forms a valid two-letter word.
  • Words may pass through existing words, but any additional adjacencies must form valid words or the placement is not allowed.

Three-tile adjacency rule

You may not place a tile adjacent to three tiles unless it forms at least two words: the main word being created and a valid word with one of the other adjacent letters.

Special Tiles

  • Wild: functions as any letter, worth 0 points (tile is labeled “WILD”).
  • Key: unlocks additional starting spaces (Key symbols on the board). Key symbols work like the initial start location. If no Key locations are available, a Key tile may be played as a Wild. Worth 0 points.
  • Pivot: allows the word you are placing to change direction to any playable direction. Worth 0 points. After placement, it creates a voided space that cannot be played on or from later. Pivot tiles do not block a parallel word from running beside them.

Scoring

  1. Letter values use standard Scrabble letter points.
  2. Word multipliers combine if a word covers more than one multiplier space (example: DW + TW = total word multiplier).
  3. Two-letter words formed by valid adjacency add their points to your turn score.
  4. Challenge rule: if challenged and the word is invalid, the player loses their turn.

Game End & Final Scoring

The game ends when all tiles have been drawn and a player uses their last tile, or when no more valid moves can be made.

The player with the highest score wins.
